The news.smallscript.org server hosts a number of different newsgroups that you may wish to subscribe to. These newsgroups are supporting all the Technology Preview Seed users. The SmallScript development team reads and monitors these newsgroups on a very frequent basis to support the seed user community. You may also find discussion on the USENET comp.lang.smalltalk newsgroup.
Bypassing a firewall to access the news server: If you are behind a firewall that blocks access to newsgroups, you may want to look at the following HTTP tunneling software. It is free, and it will allow you to access the newsgroup from behind a firewall. It works using public HTTP tunneling hosts that re-route and package TCP/IP requests into HTTP requests, which are then decoded to a localhost:port address by this software [you've downloaded] onto your local machine.
